Welcome to Mill Creek Middle School
Our school, situated on a beautiful campus in the southeast corner of Catawba County, represents the merging of three distinct communities into an evolving area anchored in rich traditions and a commitment to excellence.
As the bridge between elementary and high school, our intentionally-designed 7th- and 8th-grade middle school program makes education better for growing adolescents. Our educators understand your child's need for both independence and guidance. Teachers work in grade-level teams to nurture each student's individual personality and unique potential.
We embrace rigorous academics, but we also understand that school is about far more. Exploring elective courses and participating in athletics, clubs, and other activities ensure that students are ready for their next exciting learning opportunity.

Accountability is Important
We strive for academic excellence, which is why we take the grade we receive on our NC School Report Card (an annual statewide measure of school performance) seriously. In addition, we submit our School Improvement Plan for review and approval as required by state regulations, and our team revises that plan’s goals and strategies regularly.
